Sunnan is Cinema, Spaghetti Soul. The manifestation of a new genre, praising classical aesthetics and Morricone-esqe soundscapes.

Sunnan, five aging strangers, met and formed through the aligning of three unexpected events: a pandemic creating a space in time, the view from a gigantic panoramic window located in a barn in Sunnanhed, providing the members with an inescapable cinematic perspective. And last, a chance encounter with a legend from Stockholm’s 90s rave scene next door, sharing unorthodox instruments and eccentric philosophies, igniting the band in the founding creative process.

The members, all well known musicians and performers in the Swedish music industry would never have found each other or their sound if it weren’t for these factors.

Come celebrate the release of ”Nightrun” from their forthcoming debut album with some intimate live versions + a DJ-set all through the summer night.
